  Minor correction: In the book, Quirrell wasn't wearing the turban when Harry first met him at the Leaky Cauldron. First time we seem him in it is at the Start of Term Feast.

  Hang on, I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure that Quirrell isn't seen wearing a turban (and so is not two-faced) until Harry sees him at Hogwarts. He is not wearing a turban at the Leaky Cauldron - that's only in the movie.

  I'm glad the series isn't going to rush. It's consistent with the first audiobook which has a runtime of around 8.5 hours

  first ep1 is either gonna end on hagrid knocking on the door, or, the end of diagon alley sequence. we won&apos;t see platform 9 and 3/4 or the hogwarts express imo.<br>it&apos;s a good place to start ep2, with the dursleys teasing him for a whole month and taking him to king&apos;s cross station

  Pretty sure Voldemort isn&apos;t in the Leaky Cauldron because Quirrell does not have a turban in the book when Harry first meets him. Quirrel shouldn&apos;t be able to shake his hand if Voldemort is attached to him already. <br><br>This wouldn&apos;t be book accurate.

  I think it will open on the night of the attack and we will see the witches and wizards celebrating the downfall of Voldemort. It will continue into the next day, where we will see Vernon going to work (maybe we&apos;ll get to see how his day starts before leaving, hearing Dudley say &quot;won&apos;t&quot;) and having the day he has. Then later it will show us that night where Dumbledore, Hagrid, and Harry show up. (Of course McGonagall was already there in cat form all day).

  With how much to cramped into the first episode it it still going to be a rush while the other 7 episodes are going to need additional padding.<br>I expect the first episode to cover The Boy Who Lived (Vernon&apos;s day of strange occurrences and harry arriving at no 4), The Vanishing Glass (the abuse Harry suffers at home/school and Dudley&apos;s birthday at the zoo), The Letters From No One (the letters arriving and them fleeing to the house on the rock) and a small part of The Keeper Of The Keys (Hagrid&apos;s arrival). First episode will end with &quot;Harry, yer a wizard&quot; (the book accurate quote)

  Nice video but I&apos;d be surprised if they cover that much in the first episode. It&apos;s already been leaked that they have filmed an extended sequence for the day of voldemorts defeat, as Vernon notices wizards celebrating the news.

  Since Diagon Alley is Chapter 5 out of 17, I reckon it&apos;s pretty unlikely we&apos;ll get that in episode 1
