For more Alan Rickman wonderfulness, Galaxy Quest is a cult classic.

People take it for granted now, but this movie revolutionized action heroes and villains. We'd never had a vulnerable, everyman action hero and we'd never had a sophisticated, charismatic action villain on this level. Die Hard was a game-changer.

One of my favorite lines and a perfect display of foreshadowing was: "Glass? Who the fuck cares about glass?!"

"But he's going to be barefoot... he's really struggling... I'm so scared... average guy... street smart.... elegant villain... so much humor... his real partner... if he sees the picture..."

You did a great job of illustrating how far screenwriting has fallen. One of the best action scripts ever, even decades removed. Everything in it is there for a reason, and you actually CARE what happens to the protagonist because he's in real jeopardy the whole time.

McClane is more like your wisecracking, hard-headed uncle than an action hero. That’s what makes it feel so immersive. He could bite it at any moment and he knows it!

"He could be a BARTENDER for all we know!"
Before Willis starred on "Moonlighting" he was a bartender

Alan Rickman's first film, and Bruce's first action movie. Alan really impressed everyone with this role!

If you haven't seen it yet, there's also 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves', with Alan Rickman chewing the scenery as the Sheriff of Nottingham.

There’s nothing better than having @SoFieReactsTV react to one of your favorite movies, intelligently deciphering exactly what makes it so good and thereby perfectly validating your own opinion as correct.

Alan Rickman's face when he fell wasn't acting. He was nervous about the drop. They told him they would drop him on the count of 3 and dropped him on 1.
