What is left of the British Aircraft Industry builds important parts for Airbus and European miltary joint projects. It seems highly unlikely that they will ever build another serious airliner. The issue of blended wing/body has been pursued by many firms, but control issues take away the advantages by lowering lift coefficients and/or using too much of the lifting area to replace the moment arm length of a conventional aircraft. I will wait until I see something viable fly (if I live that long.

This airliner will get built in the next five years and tested You only have to look at wghats happening on the military side of aviayion and the huge benifits in fuel saving drag Then [ time] Plus passenger comfort Easier loading / unloading of passengers ect Britain has the expertise lets make sure we dont give it awayas we did with so many inventions and inovations
