260816

Whoops.

This playlist was supposed to go online tomorrow, but welp...having a nice Sunday companion isn't too bad either, right?

My creativity is still on an all time low and I might have figured out the reason why. I think I lack confidence. The last couple of months have taken a toll on my mental health. So much that it completely shattered my belief in my music and my confidence in my abilities. Things that might have sound good to me months before just don't anymore. I put a lot of pressure onto myself. Expectations that my current self, burnt out and exhausted as he is, just can't meet.

But I'm working on it. And honestly, it's your support and your kindness that is getting me through this slowly, but surely. I have felt motivated to make music again. The ideas still need to be found, but I'm no longer scared to at least try. I was able to work on some commissions and find enjoyment in just doodlin around again.

I will also travel to France next month for a little change of scene and will be making music at a wonderful house by the sea with nice coastal air and other creators next to me. I'm super excited for that and will share some photos with you guys!

I think this will be a long journey. But it will be such an important one. Learning how to be kinder to myself, learning how be more forgiving at the fact that I simply can't live up to my own unrealistic expectations yet. I'll do my best to get there.

Also, the playlist you are listening to right now is my first "The Silent City" album. This project is one of my absolute favorite. It features music I made to explore the complexity of human emotions in modern city life. With loneliness, blissful happiness and the monotony of existence as its main themes. I will continue to re-share my older albums as new playlists. I really hope you'll enjoy them!

---

Thank you so much for listening! Please know that it helps a lot if you liked, shared or commented on this playlist or if you used your hype points on it. If you like my music, please also consider listening to it on your streaming platform of choice. All of my pieces are available outside of YouTube. I don't take support for granted, but please know about your power to change a creator's life.

---

00:00 - Bookstore
03:33 - Konbini
07:06 - Cappuccino
10:08 - Noodle Soup
13:18 - Sundays
15:50 - Afternoon
18:31 - Cozy
20:49 - Fragile
24:07 - Eye Contact
26:43 - A City Sound Asleep
29:57 - Midnight Train
33:02 - Sick
36:42 - D0T
39:15 - Neon
41:49 - Sign
44:21 - Bokeh
47:34 - Defect
50:06 - Hiraeth
52:55 - Where To Go
57:13 - City Lights (That Look Like Stars)

This list especially makes me feel the way I've been searching for for years. It's so comforting and beautiful that it gives me the desire to keep going. I stopped planning my life a long time ago I thought it wasn't necessary, that I should simply get used to going with the flow of life, but I've gradually become motivated to look for that thing that completes me, and this music will help me a lot I will dedicate myself to moving forward, trying to find some purpose, and this music will be my foundation. Sincerely, thank you so much for creating this; it's wonderfully beautiful! ✨🫀

I'm glad to see you uploaded a video! Today was so hilarious. While I was in the bathroom, I suddenly realized how meaningless free will is. Ultimately, whether it exists or not, it doesn't change anything. Even if it does exist, I still have to wake up and live. Even if it doesn't, I still have to wake up and live. It doesn't change the past, present, or future. From now on, I'll probably stop asking this pointless question. Since the universe doesn't have any answers, and even if there were an answer about whether free will exists, it wouldn't change anything. I'll just keep living, even knowing that life is meaningless. I'll live without deceiving myself into believing that gods exist or that karma exists. My life is mine; I will create its own meaning and find as much happiness as possible from it. I haven't finished Middlemarch yet (the story is incredibly slow but totally worth it; I'm about 3/4 of it now). I'll listen to this video as background music. We'll always be waiting for your new videos.

Some days you don’t really want advice, motivation, or someone telling you that everything will be okay. Sometimes you just want to sit quietly and listen to something that understands the mood without asking any questions. That’s what this music feels like to me. I found this while trying to study on a day when my mood wasn’t really the best, and somehow I ended up staying here much longer than I expected. Thank you for creating something that can make a quiet moment feel meaningful.

You know, in my stairwell there is an apartment 2 floors below mine, and someone behind there sometimes plays Piano. They practice and make many mistakes, yet sometimes when time and work is harsh and i come home beaten from life, i find myself sitting on the stairs for 10 minutes, listening to the Piano play of my neighbor. I do not know who is playing behind there, maybe just their kids trying...... but listening to that, is much better than all the music i could open online, as it feels somewhat real. And it eachoes well in the stairwell ^___^

So wherever you live...... keep playing, your neighbors maybe like you more than you realize ^___^
