  And the fact that they were able to use the airports in Canada 🇨🇦 and especially Gander and it was just a very huge moment where we were doing what we do for the people who need help. And it was a very heart warming moment and it shows what we stand for.

  This still hits just as hard today. Maybe more in a weird way. Ive wondered if its because im a New Yorker and was here when it happened but then i read comments from people around the country and world who feel the same. Theres comfort in that so thank you. ❤

  I’m &nbsp;watching this in 2026 and I find it so much more distressing than when I first watched on the television as it happened 😢😢😢. There’s so much more information on the few videos that I have never seen.

  Wow, 25 years later... &nbsp;That went pretty quickly for me. &nbsp;I was 22 that day. &nbsp;It was my day off, so my gf and I saw American Pie 2 at 1:20 PM to try to help take our minds off of that day. &nbsp;We were the only customers in the entire Lowe&apos;s movie theater. &nbsp;We needed a funny movie after that nightmare of a morning. We were in Suffolk County, Long Island at the time and I was sleeping when the first plane hit. &nbsp;My girlfriend woke me and said a plane accidentally hit the WTC! &nbsp;We were watching live when the second plane hit. &nbsp;RIP to all who perished, except the terrorists. <br> 🙏 🇺🇸
