  To be fair, Google pays Apple to keep Google the default search engine on iOS which is 20b, so apple paying back 1b is a fraction of this.

  Been using Siri AI for two days. Thought it’d be useless most of the time. Quite surprised to agree: Apple has done it. Siri AI is still in beta, but man it’s impressive.

  I got pretty excited to hear the idea Apple's quietly betting the future is run locally on-device. That sounds pretty great.

  I got the new Siri yesterday and I tried it out after I ordered Domino’s Pizza. I asked when the order would be ready and it told me when and then I asked when should I leave to get it. It knew which Domino’s store and it told me when I should leave and it asked if I wanted to set a reminder to leave. I’m blown away.<br><br>It looked in my email, got the address, and calculated the travel time and told me. So cool!<br><br>I have flights arranged next week so I will be using Siri often

  Always said that the AI race ends on your desk. &nbsp;In a couple years Apple will be giving people computers that can easily run local Ai. &nbsp;They already do - but average consumer can&apos;t afford 40 grand for a 1.5 TB unified ram Mac Studio Ultra cluster.

  Apple’s approach is interesting because it feels less like racing to launch every flashy AI feature and more like quietly integrating AI into products people already use. Whether that counts as “winning” is debatable, but the strategy definitely feels different from the rest of the industry.

  Buying these companies is an opportunity available to every firm in the tech industry. Many do. And they usually fail to integrate the new technology into their existing line. That’s what makes Apple so skilled here.

  I guess one of the reasons why people love Apple is because of how it is something so many underestimated and it proved everyone wrong, I guess many humans are looked down upon, and they see the resilience and perseverance of Apple in their own character to make a breakthrough.
