  Everyone else builds AI to TALK. DeepMind builds AI to DISCOVER. One answers questions the other solves problems NO human ever could. That's the difference between a tool and a breakthrough. Manav Golecha always breaks this down the greatest use of AI isn't replacing us it's EXTENDING what we can understand.

  For his main question, there’s a lot of treatments already where we don’t understand the mechanism of how the treatment works, but know it works. General anesthesia is a famous example, it’s an off switch to consciousness but we don’t actually know how or why!
