  They were never in a relationship. Aaron Neville was happily married to his wife, Joel, for nearly 50 years until her death in 2007. He and Linda were close friends and had extreme respect for each other (musically). The kiss at the end was a jab at the record company because they told her not to do it 😂

  They won a Grammy for this song!  They don’t do it like this anymore!  So beautiful!  I love Aaron’s voice!

  Aaron's voice is soft so Linda had to really bring her voice down....this duet is not only beautiful but shows what humility is by not putting yourself first and letting the other person shine...

  They were never in a relationship, just admired each other.  That was at the Grammys for which they won song of the year.  Linda purposely held back on this song to let Aaron shine.

  They were not a couple, but his wife told them to go ahead and sell it. I think Linda was actually looking out to his wife in the first verses. It's so beautiful, and people need to understand that there is all kinds of very deep love, and as two very, very talented artists who undoubtedly admired one another this showed, and was so magical.

  Kid you not ... I just met Aaron Neville in the studio a few weeks ago! 😲<br><br>His band was running over their scheduled time, so my band sat and watched them for a while as we waited our turn.<br><br>They were all extremely skilled, and they sounded great. Aaron still has a terrific singing voice. <br><br>They were also very nice. I felt honored to get to hear and chat with them.

  I saw this live, in real time when they did this show. I was familiar with both of them, but putting them together - OMG. Listening now, tears fulled my eyes immediately I so miss this depth &nbsp;of beauty in a song/performance. People weren’t afraid to feel. Thank you for this, BP.

  My brother didn’t talk until he was a year and a half old. My mom was getting ready to go out and strapped him in his stroller. She turned her back and the first words out of his mouth ever was him singing the chorus to this 😂.
