  Regarding Lilith's death, I honestly would have just made it so when she tries to save Corrin, she goes into a gameplay round of combat with the Faceless. If the player fed her often and took care of her, she should have the stats to survive and chill for the rest of the game. If they didn't, she dies and now the player feels like it was their fault that she died because they neglected her. That way that whole thing with feeding Lilith to make her stronger has a little more of a purpose

  iago&apos;s motivation across all routes is surprisingly consistent on one point: he&apos;s genuinely loyal to garon and by extension nohr. hans is the simplistic cackling villain that only cares about power.<br><br>so here&apos;s my pitch with this in mind: garon sits on the throne at the start of chapter 26 and starts bugging the fuck out. iago is with garon at the time and immediately leaps to the (accidentally correct) conclusion that this was corrin&apos;s plan somehow, declaring them and their siblings traitors. corrin&apos;s siblings insist that something&apos;s wrong with garon and they want to help, but corrin and azura&apos;s unwillingness to elaborate on what&apos;s going on convinces iago that he&apos;s right, so he mobilises the nohrian army against them. the siblings still side with corrin because corrin has given them at least a broad outline of what&apos;s going on, and it aligns with their own plans to curtail the worst of garon&apos;s decisions.

  Conquest really should have leaned entirely into the &quot;overthrow garons rule from inside&quot; angle for its story like it started off to be with a few plot points.<br><br>There were better options to expose garons true self then overthrowing an entire other country just for a magic chair

  Here&apos;s my thoughts about individual chapters on your video:<br><br>Izumo: This would have been a fantastic chapter for the hoshido sibs to put the nohr sibs into the uncomfortable situation of facing reality by accusing them of enabling their father&apos;s warcrimes, and that they&apos;re going to get innocent people killed because of their spineless behaviour. One of my biggest gripes with conquest is how little the nohr sibs actually say &apos;hey maybe we shouldn&apos;t invade hoshido, what our father is doing is wrong&apos; in any meaningful discussion outside of Leon&apos;s brief talk with Xander in revelations.<br><br>The eternal stairway: This chapter has Camilla suggest that Garon is sending the faceless to kill of the nohr siblings, to which Xander says &apos;oh no, he wouldn&apos;t send this much faceless to an out of nowhere location&apos;. I think having Leon agree with Camilla, and say to the other siblings that obeying their father in order to stay alive isn&apos;t working anymore would be a good adjustment. This would force the nohr sibs to openly discuss the uneasy situation they&apos;re in and actually consider what they should do in order to survive.<br><br>Hoshido/Sakura: Rather than have Garon kill Sakura directly, I would have liked Garon to <b>order Xander</b> to strike the killing blow. This puts Xander in the uncomfortable situation where he either continues obeying his father and spilling innocent blood or refuse the order and bring Xander&apos;s buried feelings of frustration about his father&apos;s actions seen in his supports with Corrin to the surface as he finally tells Garon to go to hell, and he won&apos;t be Garon&apos;s executioner any longer.<br><br><br>The reason behind the points i&apos;ve made is to address one of my biggest gripes of conquest: The writing goes out of it&apos;s way to avoid putting the Nohr sibs into situations where they have to think about what they&apos;re doing. With my ideas, I&apos;d want to force the nohr siblings to confront their situation and reject garon&apos;s abuses in a timely manner and NOT at the last chapter of the game after they&apos;ve already helped Garon conquer hoshido. <br><br>And if the nohr sibings take a stand against garon and his army to protect the innocents of hoshido, the people they protect can vouch for their worth for the rest of their nation and give a path towards peace between the nations that isn&apos;t nonsensical the way base conquests ending is.

  Honestly... I personally would of god damn loved it if Corrin was less &quot;I will stop my country from killing&quot; and more &quot;This war has to happen... You refused to give us aid! You let my people die!&quot; Iirc what little story is left Nohr is on the brinks of collapse in terms of resources. They tried to make make deals with Hoshido but <b>they always</b> refused. I would of loved if that was the two major difference.

  A part of what made Ryouma willing to sacrifice himself is the fact he spared Hinoka and Sakura.<br><br>You have to rewrite his death scene if you kill the other royals imo.
