  I have watched a good dozen or so channels on fiberglass lay-ups/repair. This is the only one that speaks man-to-man. All the others talk like I am 9 years old. Needless to say, this is the only channel I continue to watch. Subscribed on that first video I watched. Thanks, Fishbump, for talking man-to-man.👍🏻👍🏻

  As a lifetime boat builder myself, everything from 25&apos; trailer sailboats to the big offshore race boats built on aircraft laminate schedules, I&apos;ve done one or two of these repairs myself. For the home crafters out there, I can tell you, this gentleman knows his craft. Every step is spot on. Kudos sir.

  Thank you for your help, watching your channel help me with my project.was a huge amount of gel coat damage on my 1995 &nbsp;CS center console I took all your information from this video. Like you said after few days of working with gel coat and other fiberglass repair products you get better at working with it.Took me many hours on my back sanding and feathering for smooth finish my boat was chipped just like the boat in this video, But my chips where down both side full length of my center console.Was very labor intensive but simple process , apply gel coat and sand shape and sand shape more .Hard work laying on your back and bending over for hours and hours, I never got a quote from a professional Shop . I could have imagined the cost . After full two weeks working every day. I got pretty good at mixing and sanding and feathering and applying the product to the boat.I enjoy your channel learned alot . Too anyone reading this I have zero friends and family in the boat business I just took all information from Joe . DIY is going how I get my Carolina skiff water ready. My advice don&apos;t get in a hurry read all you can about the process of Gel coat , will say waiting few days to start polish sanding with 400 and 800 grit &nbsp;wet sanding. Joe said many times sand shape and 220 but don&apos;t sand too hard &nbsp;, I taped off everything that is the best Pro Tip

Thanks to your videos, I&apos;m restoring a 2007 Edgewater 170cc that I got here in Spain. I&apos;m learning a lot, and there&apos;s no other channel like yours in the world. Bravo, keep it up. I&apos;ll always be on the lookout for new videos. <br>I love American boats. The type of construction isn&apos;t similar to what we have here in Europe. You&apos;re a few years ahead of us.
