you take the time slowly explaining the story, i like that,,,, other documentaries rush and rush to battle tactics, forgetting the whole image

You should definitely do a video on Pharaoh Thutmose III arguably the most successful Egyptian pharaoh in terms of warfare and military strategy. What’s fascinating is that ancient Egypt wasn’t traditionally a conquest-driven civilization. They were far more interested in maintaining order, diplomacy, and statecraft than building vast empires.

Part of this mindset came from deep cultural and religious beliefs.many Egyptians feared dying outside their homeland, since they believed it could prevent their soul from reaching the afterlife. This made large-scale foreign campaigns psychologically and spiritually difficult, even when they had the means to wage them.

Thutmose III was a rare exception who broke from that norm. His campaigns in the Levant and Syria showed what Egypt could achieve militarily if it had pursued expansionism as consistently as, say, Rome or Assyria.they had the resources, organization, and ingenuity to dominate much of the ancient world but decided not to.
