  I ride a 2016 RT and absolutely love the bike. She’s great on long hauls and  handles the Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee mountain twisties with ease. I haven’t ridden many different bikes but riding an RT I really haven’t had a desire to ride other brands.

  Really great review brother. I am torn between the RT and the GSA. Both great bike's, but I can only have one. New to your channel and a big G'day from Australia mate.   I should have kept up on updates from BMW regarding demo rides. RSD is not far from me and you guys rode right by my home! I am about to pull the trigger on the exact same bike you rode. That Option 719 Blue is making me dig a little deeper into my bank account. It's pretty amazing in person.

  Hi Andrew, I had both the K1600GT and the R1250GSA then I made a mistake and sold the GT to make space, I did 6300km on the GSA and I hated it, very little wind protection and a very uncomfortable bike. So after not riding it for almost 4 months I got rid of it and replaced it with the 2020 1250RT and I love it, no wind noise, lovely power and I could stay in the seat the whole day.  P S I found the TFT display unfriendly and it took your attention off the ride when you needed info, I love the clocks on the RT with all the info there at a glance

  There isn’t a good deal on anything right now. There just isn’t any new inventory, so the used bikes are all overpriced. I just decided to buy a new 2021 with the dealer mark up of course.

  Would you consider moving from your GS and getting an RT . Did you feel the foot pegs had you cramped ?

  I have owned a 2019 GSA for 9 months now and I thought about adding an RT not having ridden one for any great distance I am wondering if there is enough difference between them to own both . I hope to rent one for a few days this summer and like you I would love to have several bikes, I just don’t know if the RT makes sense for me as I love my GSA but who knows .
