I like this. Just two guys with years of life experience comparing notes.
Mark rarely talks about himself. I like seeing this side of him. Open, honest and a little vulnerable. It's a good thing.

Fnk Mark, with another banger. I was in a dark dark place starting with C-19. I’m a Marine vet, never dealt with these deep emotional trauma. Sexual moles… (uncle and sister)…, dead beat dad that had 12 kids with 8 women now is a Christian pastor (lol), an alcoholic step dad upbringing, and my own substance abuse. SWU has saved my life! Through the interviews, the recommended books, I’m a lot more happy and have given face head on the resistance. It’s not perfect everyday but I keep going in my small little space. Thanks Mark and and all the “intervieweres” !

“Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working.”
― Pablo Picasso

I've heard this paraphrased as: Inspiration can strike at any time, but it has to find you working.

Kinda relevant to what is said at the 00:34:00.
Thanks so much Mark! Yet another very valuable talk.

Everyone should read The War of Art. It can change your life for the better. It certainly did that for me. Thank you Steven!

As a painter, and a former addict, I can relate to ALL of this! I even have a sign in my studio about “resistance”! It’s the stealer of JOY! Thank you Mark this was a real inspiration I needed!

No one has gotten Mark to open up about himself like this guy has. He's like the wise, kind, and supportive dad he never had.
