  It can be difficult to truly "love yourself" when you carry the burden of sin, shame, guilt, insecurities, resentment, hatred, and anger. It is difficult to believe God will truly forgive EVERY SIN.

  I've been struggling with forgiving myself of past deeds. Although I went to Confession and was absolved, I still held those sins against myself, even knowing that God forgave me. So I prayed last night for God's help to help me forgive myself. This morning, I came across this video. Thank you, God, for prayers answered...and thank YOU, Father, for sharing. ❤❤❤

  I just came upon your channel today.  I know it was Divinely guided and I thank God.  This is the 4th one I've watched today.  I truly feel The Holy Spirit speaking through you from Our Father to me. Thank you so much for your service to The Almighty Creator on my behalf and all those who are hearing The Lord's truth through your channel.  God isn't just good, He's amazing and He is Sovereign!

  The poetic contemplation added so much. A pile of stones abandoned--but the weight of Mercy filling soul, mind, heart, and body. Thank you for the reminder of our dignity in God, and the truth that all our unworthiness is washed away by his Love.

  The youthful desire to become a man or a woman often gives way to the adult reality of mistakes and longing for a bygone innocence. It seems our true yearning was not merely to grow up, but to embody the men and women God had planned for us from eternity, a destination we might have missed in our journey.   It’s refreshing to hear a priest talk like this. When I was growing up in the pre-VatII Church, I heard far more about guilt, suffering, penance, purgatory, and hell than about heaven. I can’t remember a single word about the love of God, who came across, at best, as a force of Cosmic Indifference whose primary goal was to send you to hell on a technicality. (It astounds me when I hear young people, usually those attached to the Latin Mass, refer to those days as if they were some sort of Golden Age — not that I have any problem with their preference for the TLM. May God bless them in it. For me, however, it was part and parcel of a form of Jansenistic Catholicism I’d prefer to forget.)
