  I came back to Confession because of the Holy Eucharist, and I received such great healing, and I got into Catholicism again. But then after that I focused so much on perfection, and self improvement that I reached to a point of anxiety and scrupulosity. I then realized Im exhausted, I'm tired, and I need to stop overthinking. I needed to stop over complicating things with Christ. He just wanted my heart, he just wanted me to be loved. When I had learned this, I started over again, slowly but surely, though yes I'm not so focused on sin, acting anxious and irrational, I feel as though I am way more healthier spiritually I couldve ever been. So praise be to Jesus Christ!

  As someone who struggles with Scrupulosity I am consistently worried if I’m praying “correctly”, I even worry if I confessed rightly.  My mind knows Jesus is enough, but that needs to get to my heart.  St Therese of Lisieux, please pray for me.

  Thank you for this!! I have become cluttered with so many devotions that prayer sometimes seemed like a chore rather than praise. I will let go of some of them and focus on the ones that give me the most peace. Thank you Holy Spirit for bringing this message to me through Father Columba!🕊️🙏🏽

  I can relate so much to this. I’m a cradle Catholic who fell away for years until the day I realized God is real and He truly is the creator of all. Like I ‘knew’ that before but this time it just hit me.
