The name of this video attracted me immediately, have I got a story to tell. About a year and a half ago I was diagnosed with uterine cancer. Right after, one night I woke up in desperate fear of it all. I cried like a baby, stayed with it rather than avoiding the emotions it brought up in me. I came to some kind of an acceptance of it and a peacefulness came over me. I told God I want a cure but you know what, I'm going to go with you on this. Whatever is your will, it is better than anything I could want for myself, even if I don't understand, I'm going with you Lord. I found peace and went to sleep like a baby. I had a hysterectomy. After all the biopsies it all turned out it was stage one, 95% cure rate, no chemo, no radiation, and seeing the oncologist every 6 months for the first 2 years after (rather than every 3 as is usual) and then once a year for the next 3 years. So far so good. BTW I'm 81 years old. What I've learned is to get yourself out of the way and let God do his thing and trust that he's got you no matter how it goes.

Full trust and surrender have been the hardest for me. Also, a humble heart. All these things I am working on, and the Lord is constantly testing me on them, so I pray I will hang in there and really develop that complete faith in Him!
