  I&apos;ve been doing the rule of 1. I pick 1 giant RPG, pretend like the rest of my library doesn&apos;t exist, and about 20-400 hours later I pick a new game. Surprisingly this has been sorta working.

There’s been studies done in which people have been shown to see their future self as a different person, like an entirely separate being. So when we buy a bunch of games at once we think “Future me will be so content” only to realize “Despite everything, it’s still you.”
