French here: We don't call it benefits but RIGHTS !! Rights!! We don't have sick days, if we are sick we don't come to work. I have 35 paid days off this year 😅

Uk here. 37 hrs full time. 28 days paid holiday leave plus 8 national bank holidays. Full paid sick for 6 months, then 50% for the next 6 months.

Dane here, When McDonald's came to Denmark in the 80s they tried to give the Danes a low wage and wouldn't sign a collective agreement with the union. We have a strong union, so we blocked McDonald's so they were forced to give a decent wage and they were forced to sign a collective agreement with the union. The American dream is bs, and something you Americans have been taught from birth.
