  As an Australian I feel so sorry for the average American, and it makes me so mad at the 1 or 2 percent that make all the profit at the expense of their worker's. The richest country ever doesn't give their population free health care and you still treat your politicians like rock stars. You should have stayed British just for the perks.

  Australia&apos;s good, &nbsp;$52 an hour, 4 weeks paid leave, free doctors and hospitals, employer paid superannuation, a heap of paid public holidays, .. and I&apos;m only a carpenter..

  Wages should be the responsibility of the employer not the customer by way of tips. American companies should pay a living wage.

  As a senior casual worker I make $37 &nbsp;with loading for public holidays and 4 weeks paid leave and 7 days sick leave plus bonuses. And of course superannuation

  Watching this whilst I&apos;m on Long Service Leave for a few months. Because I work in education (Education Support position) I will still get paid for all the school holidays as well.

  if you work more hours than your contract you got paid overtime, weekends and public holidays you got penalty rates. In Australia we work to live, not live to work.

  I live in Australia and we have a great work/life balance. Most of the workers here don&apos;t work weekends but if you do you get a lot more per hour. 8 hours a day is normal, 4 weeks paid vacation, all public holidays are paid if you are full time. Superannuation is for everyone not just for full time workers.We have maternity leave and paternity leave which is so father&apos;s can also bond with their children. I could not imagine living in the US where profit is more important than workers. What&apos;s the point of working all the time if you don&apos;t get to enjoy it?

  In Australia we get 4 weeks paid leave in part time and full time work and a years maternity and paternity leave
