Tommy never had a funeral. He disappeared and is presumed dead. It is believed that Paulie told the Gambinos that Tommy killed Batts. He left out Henry and Jimmy because they were his top money makers. While the fight between Tommy and Batts happened the real reason they killed him was when Batts went to prison Jimmy took over his loan shark operation and Jimmy didn't want to give it back.

The Federal agent talking to the Hill's about witness protection is named Edward McDonald. He is the real agent that brought the Hill's into witness protection.

Everywhere the REAL Tommy went, he had a gun, and he had guys with him.

BUT!- for the “getting made” ceremony it’s custom that you go ALONE and UNARMED

So even tho it was underhanded, it was the only way to catch Tommy by suprise!

Henry was born in 1943 so in 1970 he would've been 27

Casino (1995) has very similar MOB vibes and some of the same actors.
L.A. Confidential (1997) is a great cop movie with a stacked cast also.
Or, if you want to, you can basically watch most of IMDB's Top250 movies (Goodfellas is #18) for guaranteed views. :goodvibes:

People like these characters still exist..just more sophisticated...not as much violence, or direct robberies..with all the cameras and cell phone tech way too easy to get caught...

Henry is freaked out by the Batts incident because Jimmy and Tommy didn't tell him in advance. They just did it in his bar, and if Henry hadn't gone along with it, they probably would have been burying two bodies. That's what Henry is thinking about at the dinner table.
