  Only Americans don’t negotiate. I bargain for internet, phone, interest rates. Recently my car transmission blew up, I used Chat GPT to see how much a new one should cost and negotiate the dealership service down to that price which saved me $1600. Stop playing footsies with these dang corporations!

  I just don&apos;t eat fast food, coffee, etc<br>I always cut tubes (lotion, toothpastes, etc) when I can no longer squeeze out product.<br>The only 1 streaming app HBO MAX.

  To save money on water and electricity.. I bought enough clothes ( thrift store) so that I can go 2 weeks without running out of clothes so that when I do laundry it&apos;s a full load ( I am single). &nbsp;Same with towels. &nbsp; And in warmer months I hang clothes outside on the clothesline. &nbsp;Anna In Ohio

  our local starbucks used to always be out of cream cheese cups so i started packing our own cream chees and wed end up saving $4. now we just dont visit starbucks every saturday morning. we go once a year when we drive out of town.

  i get a senior discount on ny telephone, water bill, vet bilks... If you pay a years worth of a bill 5% off Yates Ast r o, hundreds off life insurance and auto insurance etc. Every time you get a bill ask for a discount!😊 Yes MM and i pay bills frommit. i get 3%. It went down to 1%. i went to the bank and said i want 3% back! They did it!!😊

  Toilet Paper... I count the squares. 3 squares for a pee 4 squares for a poo. If you fold it right you get the thickness to keep from finger pop accidents :) lol.<br><br>I used to buy Charmin but then they started the guessing game with 30 different packages to choose from. Basic, Super Soft, Double Roll, Triple Roll. One ply, 2 ply etc. Irritated me so I just started buying Angel Soft. It&apos;s soft enough and strong enough and reasonably priced. No guessing games. <br><br>I wait for TP to be on sale at Dollar General. Most times Angel Soft will have an additional digital coupon...when you spend $20 you get an additional $5 off...plus it&apos;s on sale...plus...the Dollar General $5 off when you spend $25 on Saturdays coupon...and if you are lucky enough to have a paper coupon they all stack together. So I buy 4 family size packs... on sale saves about $8...and get the $5 off for $20 mfg coupon and another $5 off for spending $25 DG coupon...I get $40 worth of tp for $22....then I don&apos;t have to worry about buying TP for 4-6 months. If I stay our of the stores... I spend less money on impulse buys...spend less gas shopping all the time...less of my time out shopping....win win win win win.<br><br>I also watch for DG to have the bonus Clearance sales where you get an additional 50% off the already clearance price. I&apos;ve gotten dish soap, laundry soap and all kinds of good stuff for almost 75% off regular prices that way...and if it&apos;s Saturday you get another $5 off when you spend $25.<br><br>I stay stocked up on EVERYTHING. When I get down to two...I know to start watching for a sale...and when I find one...I stock up for 6 months worth on food items and up to a year on shelf stable items. I will do with out before I pay FULL PRICE for most anything !!! I don&apos;t pay more than $4.50 a lb for any meat. We get lamb and beef for $4.50 lb or under. Chicken and pork $2 lb or under. Wild caught...not farm raised or China Poo Lagoon raised...Fish and shrimp $5 a lb or under. You just have to watch the clearance and sales. What I save allows me to buy farm raised eggs, real Kerry Gold butter and organic bread. The better the food I can buy, the less health problems I have. And I despise lining any Mega corporation CEO pockets just so they can poison me with their crappy food.

  Through personal experience I have discovered that one of the easiest bills to negotiate is insurance. Specifically car and home insurance. If you call your insurance agent and express to them that you cannot afford to renew your policies with them and you will have to get other quotes they will find a way to find extra savings for you.
