I still remember how pleased she was to receive a small bouquet of handpicked pink roses, from myself. As a local lady she opened our village hall after it was rebuilt after a fire.

I have always respected the Queen Mother. She and her husband set an excellent example during WWII.

I sent her a card on her 100 birthday, and I even got a letter from her saying thank you. Which was a surprise

Thank you for the interesting and fascinating life of the Queen Mother Elizabeth Angela Marguerite Bowes-Lyon. It was nice to learn more about her as a young girl , as well as more about her marriage and life after losing King George VI, at such a young age. I always loved hearing about him and his love and devotion to his wife and family. I don’t blame her for not liking his brother & wife . Especially after I read about Edward & Wallis , fraternizing with Hitler . Thank the Lord he abdicated to Bertie, and it then led to <br>The Beloved HMTQ Elizabeth ll, who was a wonderful monarch . I always truly admired and loved her. God bless . 🇺🇸❤️
