  The darker green is really beautiful, and you could even paint the hallway skirting boards and stairs in the darker green to make them pop.

  Just an idea: spin the new couch around to back up against your desk. It&apos;ll divide the room into desk area, and then seating area. If there&apos;s space, you could bring back in your big chair (or the blue one?) to put in the corner beneath the bookcases. Both changes would help with hiding cords and less aesthetic visual clutter.

  Just want to say that it was really fun watching a full video of quick wins. I <b>love</b> your bigger projects and renos and how you chip away at them at a normal human pace (it encourages me with my own home projects!) -- but it was lovely watching you complete a bunch of adorable upgrades. Not for my own &quot;viewer satisfaction&quot;. For YOURS. I loved watching you finish little things -- there&apos;s a tangible joy in this video!

  A few years back, I found my mom&apos;s doodles in an old paperback that she had given me. Doodles that I remember her dooing since I wa a child. I took the page and framed it. My mother is now 96 years old. I will cherish her doodles forever.

  worth pointing out, yes matte board does make art look nice, but its mostly there to protect the art from damage. Moisture can get inside the frame, and the art can stick to the glass, causing damage, mold, and bleading of colors, the matte board adds an air gap that helps prevent those problems and protect your art for the long term.

  “Your own life is a good enough reason to enjoy these things.” I have been trying so hard to practice this. As a child who never sharpened cute pencils or used the stickers or unboxed the barbies- I am now trying to not do that with my daughter. Unfortunately, the stickers lost their stick and were trash- but she loves playing with the collector’s edition barbies and feels healing to live vicariously through her.

  Watching Ariel enthusiastically say “painting is easy” just a day after watching Leena and Craig struggle with their hallway is somehow really funny and beautiful at the same time

  All of these look fantastic, but I think you might want to reconsider the picture above the stove. It would be really sad if it got damaged by steam from years of cooking. : (
