yes, Pamela Anderson was paid for this movie, so she knew what would happen, but she liked the idea, so she didn't tell her security guards.

Those frat boys sued Sacha for slander (unsuccessfully) because this movie made them look bad. In reality, it made the look exactly like who they really are.

I love how, in the end, as he was being roughed up by Pamela Anderson’s bodyguards, he finally got the concept of a “not” joke. It really ties it all together.

Years ago, when a Kazakh athlete won gold in the world championships (weightlifting or wrestling, can't remember which), they mistakenly played that "Borat" version of their national anthem from the very end of the movie at the medal ceremony. Didn't go over well ...
