  Mike, the driving instructor, is the unsung hero of the film. He accepted the kisses as not to offend his culture, explained to Borat what consent was, instructed him not to drink and drive, told him not to hit the children, and accepted being called his boyfriend. Mike, wherever he is, I hope he is living his best life.

  People didn't know that Borat wasn't a real person at the time. Plenty was unscripted.

  The mansion where Borat learned &apos;fine dining&apos; is in my city, and the gentleman with the really good white hair was my wife&apos;s pastor and did our wedding ceremony. When this came out he was so embarrassed but wouldn&apos;t talk about it as the lawsuit with the studio was still ongoing. They had absolutely NO idea what was going on.

  The only thing that upset the Jewish couple with the bed and breakfast was that they were worried that people would think they actually had pests in the house. They&apos;re so sweet.

  I’m from Jackson, MS and yes, the Channel 16 news broadcast was real. He was sued by many people due to the interactions in this movie.<br>Pam was in on it, obviously. But the remaining 90% were not.

  The village that played his hometown was, in fact, a Romanian village that had no idea what they were into. They were really mad at the time when the movie came out. Same for Kazakhstan, with official statements, and all
