  People need to really give that kid more credit, he managed to reverse engineer freakin magic, and was the only one to do anything to save the day lol.

  Archer never said I love you to his kid that&apos;s why he became a bully. Even his dad was like a bully, that&apos;s why the other parents were wary of him<br><br>feel like today people gets too overcorrected with teachers, they can&apos;t hug kids, can&apos;t talk to them, can&apos;t punish them, but then they&apos;re expected to give their lives when there&apos;s a school shooting or an emergency. Makes no sense

  As far as them ever &quot;snapping out&quot;, I think the witch was draining them of their life force until there wasnt anything left. He saved his parent&apos;s life, but they had been draining for at least a month plus. The kids at least a month, and it literally took them a year to partially recover. Not sure how fast Paul or James would have recovered since it was only a day or two, while as soon as she died, Archer was back to himself. Thats just my guess on the mechanics.

  I like how from James perspective the Cop, Paul, is confident and intimidating when he’s let go, but from Paul’s perspective he’s scared and out of breath when he lets James go. Nice detail to show the different ways they both perceived the interaction

  FUN FACT - if you pay attention to some of the dialogue you&apos;ll realize that Gladys isn&apos;t even related to them! Alex&apos;s dad says Gladys is Alex&apos;s grandma&apos;s sister but Gladys says she&apos;s his mom&apos;s sister. His dad says that they haven&apos;t seen her in 15 years, but gladys says she saw Alex as a baby (10 years ago), lmao she just ruined this random family&apos;s life<br>also she&apos;s at least 100 years old based on her using the term &quot;consumption&quot;

  The long shot of Justine passed out in the car and the mom wobbling over all the way from the house is a masterclass in suspense. Truly an iconic shot/scene imo, it&apos;s my favorite part of the movie when watching reactions on youtube 😆

  I love the fun little detail of Gladys lying to everyone about the timeline of knowing the family….she clearly doesn’t actually know the family 😂😂
