Another nice, unique high-level doubles video. Always appreciated

A crucial one I would add is always be positive with your energy. Your partner can't help that he just double-faulted 3 times in one game (my match last weekend 😌)

I will also apologize to my partner when I blast them in the back of the head on a serve. This is great stuff coach - It's half couples counseling and half strategy.

A great Stokke video.  I have never seen this addressed in any coaching [on line or in person].  Really useful.  Unfortunately [or fortunately?] I don't have a regular doubles partner but play with lots of partners each week at the club [at the 'mix-in' sessions] but the one thing I tell each partner is that my only 'rule' at doubles is "No apologies!" because we've all made that bad shot [missed an easy volley, hit a double fault, etc].  Keep up the good work JS!

it brings me down when my partner says sorry to me for missing a shot.  I miss shots all the time - we all do, so when you say sorry to me, all it really does in my mind is make me think "ah crap now I'm gonna feel like a real p.o.s. when I shank one."  Great stuff, as always.

I often find my paryners say that they just want to enjoy, not want to win. 😮😢

A third reason to apologize to your partner is if you hit them with your serve. I never expect my partners to apologize for this (they probably deserve at least one or two free shots at me), but I'll apologize if I tag them.

Lol, same. Though these personality tests are just astrology, I am exactly how you are, no bs, just tasks and things to knock out.

I say I'm sorry if I hit 2 or more double faults in the same game and lose the game. I don't say sorry if I hit 2 or more double faults in the same game and still win the game.
