What a well done video man! 👏Everyone hit the Hype button on this, editing like this takes a crazy amount of time and bourbon to complete! 😂

Your kids are so fortunate to have a dad that teaches them the history of our country, and takes them on trips like this. Thanks for taking this old gal along for the ride.

We missed you all by about 2 weeks! We traveled from Pa last year at the end of June to Idaho. We posted on Crooked River near Elk City. Packed gear on the KTMs, then did what I call the loop. The Magruder Corridor to Darby to Lolo, across the Lolo Motorway. For me, 6 times across the Magruder and 4 times the Lolo Motorway. I discovered the beauty of Idaho in 2019 on my return from the west coast after accomplishing the Trans America Trail on my KTM 1190R. That trip, while being away from home for 3 months living with my bike, changed my life. I return west every year with buddies and bikes, sharing with them what I have been gifted and blessed with. 🙏 Great job on your production. I have terabytes of footage that I will put together. Watching yalls trip inspires me! See yall in Idaho!

Man I’m the 5th generation Montanan. I’ve always loved Lewis and Clark. I used to race snowmobiles on Lolo pass and would always think about them. I drove to Boise from Kalispell and as we wound down Lolo pass I kept seeing the signs and I really want to follow their path. Those guys were so brave.

That Montana/Idaho/Montana/Idaho corridor is also noteworthy as you’re driving directly through areas that were, as recently as 115 years ago, forested. To everyone who enjoyed Stephen Ambrose’s “Undaunted Courage” I cannot recommend more wholeheartedly Timothy Egan’s “The Big Burn: Teddy Roosevelt and the Fire That Saved America” In 1910 the biggest forest fire in recorded history forever changed landscapes in Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and even a tiny part of Colorado. Tim Egan’s writing is so wonderfully cinematic. So perfectly complimentary to both Ambrose and David McCullough. Giving us place, time, setting, the energy of an era that we never knew while simultaneously offering real education that tickles the mind back to being happy to be human. To be alive. To be an American.

You did a great job with this man. I need to do this. I love the history on Montana/Idaho and the rocky mtn/Northern Plains Indian. All of this stuff happened a very short time ago.
