Oh my goodness, I am an 87 year old grandfather and live on my own with my beautiful dog, she can't understand why I am bawling my eyes out.

The quality of this Hungarian movie makes me proud. Kudos to its director, Gardos Éva. Greetings from Hungary. Our history of dictatorship seems to have found a continuation.

Soulful film , she is so lucky to have been truly loved by so many.
Sad though how that love was split by these truly sad events , so pleased she got to show both her parents the love they needed back .
You never forget a truly nurturing love ever😊❤

Thank you for showing this achingly beautiful film. I have a friend whose mother grew up in an orphanage in Budapest at that time and was rescued by a young American soldier. They fell in love, got married, and stayed in Germany for a while where my friend and his sister were born. My friend spoke German as a kid and didn't learn how to speak English until the family finally settled in Washington DC. This movie made me understand and appreciate what my friend's parents must have gone through. Again, thanks for this movie.

Wow, I thought to myself 'what a beautiful movie!' and then realized it was based on a true story. Wow, powerful, sad yet beautiful. So sad what humanity has suffered, but the resilience of so many is so inspiring. Ty!!

a very unexpected movie to find on youtube. There is little talk of immigrate children and their experience so often brought into other cultures with no attempt to comprehend that childs experience.

There still needs to be a lot of more empathy in this world and without comprehension for the emotional impacts which are indeed highly complex these children may never feel peace in themselves.

I have had my own personal experience for these children in a young and now young friend forced to immigrate to Australia from the Iraq War. Ive treasured my time getting to understand how he's managing to reclaim an identity for himself when he has torn trauma and how he navigates not just the cultural differences but his place in a world. Memories hes has to come to terms with still are the saddest heartship i face alongside him.

Thanks for this movie :-)

The pain and suffering that are the consequence of insane/inhuman politics. Now - as then - as always! If anyone deserved an accolade in this film, it was Kelly, who played the 6-year-old Suzanne.

A very powerful & touching true story well played out by a super cast. Tough times never last, but tough people do, so very true in this real life story! Thanks YouTube for sharing! Scarlett debut acting was in The Horse Whisperer, another good movie!

This film didn't launch her career. She was known already as a child actress and did The Horse Whisperer.
