I think the lesson about this movie is that your soul will never be happy in someone else's body. So we should stop wishing to be someone else because there is no proof of how we will feel. What is meant for us is meant for us, whether good or bad, and that's the reality: we cannot change our souls to different bodies. We all got our stories, and we meant to live that story, not someone else's story.

Yesterday, I saw this movie and didn't click on it to watch it. This morning, I woke up with the same worries of the past few weeks.
I can honestly say, after watching it now, I feel better. The financial stress is still there, the uncertainty of the weeks ahead, still there, but somehow, I feel better and thankful that I am still here
Good lesson.

Theoretically, one could build endless episodes on this where even the actor chooses his own reality

I think people are looking for too much meaning. The movie is pretty straightforward. For some reason (she did wish it), her soul has been placed to wonder, and we don't know if she will ever make it back. The way the movie ended, it kind of seems she is destined to wonder. She always missed her origins though, so maybe the lesson was to appreciate what you have, for you never know if you might lose it. Life can be like this, you can be happy one moment and then lose it all and have to start over. It teaches us all to appreciate the good moments...no matter what situation or circumstance we might be living, and to do our best if possible.

She is waking up to a direct parallel universe in different versions of her self ,my understanding the higher soul contains over 100.000 bodies

What the hell was that ending?! She doesn't even make it back to her own body but ends up with the same mom?! Just put her back in her body, make her learn a lesson about the grass isn't always greener or whatever and THEN end it. I'm so mad right now because this was an interesting concept that had a lot of potential and it just completely flopped man.

The ways that adolescence produces thoughts and phantasies about life situations and magnifies them through the lens of uncertainty in the minds of people developing towards adulthood is captured so perfectly in this film, although I can understand why many people regard the ending as not reaching a satisfying conclusion despite the fact that I felt how the final scene summarised the mental insecurities of people in this phase of their life.

That's surely a very complex and heart-touching movies! A true dilemma and a puzzle whose pieces are lost in the uncertainty of life. What really matter is to find out purpose and live life to the fullest being content with who we are.
