For me, Todd’s emptiness is what makes him unforgettable. It’s not the violence — it’s the absence of anything behind it. What stands out to you most about his psychology?

Tod is undeniably the scariest character but the irony is,from a moral standpoint, one can make the argument that Walter is worse . While Tod's actions are undeniably horrific he does them because they have to be done and lacks the undarstanding of what makes them wrong or why that matters to begin with. He is not driven by selfishness or need for control, he is simply someone incapable of empathy doing his job. Walt on the other hand is capable of empathy, knows what he is doing is wrong, understands why it's wrong but does it anyways, not for something outside of him but for himself and his own selfish needs.

I don't think Todd took the kid's tarantula as any sort of serial killer trophy. I think he just thought the tarantula was cool and decided to keep it. The kid ceased to be anything in his mind the second the conflict over the killing was "resolved."

I feel a lot of Todd's logic model comes from Jack unfortunately. That's why the responses are so robotic and detached. He has a very childlike approach to romance which shows that there could be some PFC stunting that are prevalent in people with ASPD

Good soldiers follow orders. I think that sentence identifies Todd , he is all practical and obedient

Analysis like this, must be equally as fascinating to a psychopath. He is listening to Dr Patrick talk about compassion and how lack of empathy is wild. While for them it is absolutely normal not to feel empathy. Like how you would not think twice about killing NPC's in a video game. What's the big deal? We make it out to be something big and it's bewildering to them. So what if Todd isn't thinking about the corpse in the back of his car? Yeah he compartmentalized it. Why shouldn't he? To a psychopath we are just strange. And weak.

I am so happy to see that you made a video about Todd. I have aways wondered if he is a realistic character and if his type of behaviour is learned or born. Thank you!

Todd was basically Gus but the difference was he wasn't the one in charge he was just the cog

Todd is right most of the time, no half measures. The others are hypocritical and are only able to shame him in comfort because of the actions he took.
