  Hey, local guide here! The guide interviewed throughout the video, incorrectly named at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=In8OcQB3qzc&amp;t=75">1:15</a>, is my colleague. Just pointing it out, because she deserves proper credit - her name is Katarína Baleková. At this point, she&apos;s been working at the castle for about ten years, by far the longest tenured of all the tour guides. I&apos;ve been working at the castle for about 3 years, but I still learned things I didn&apos;t even know about just by listening to her here. The credited name, Miroslava Murínová, is actually our manager. Besides this tho, good video man, props to you!

  One thing lacking for people growing up in the USA is old buildings. The &quot;old&quot; over there are maybe 100-200 yrs old, I walk to my work everyday between buildings from the 11-1500 century, combined with hyper modern constructions. It&apos;s a blessing to feel that history on a daily basis.

  when I was a kid the highest balcony was still open for public. on your own risk.. it was all wobbly as hell and some floor parts where missing.. i remember the adrenaline walking there until this day :)

  What always blows my mind is how people completed their roofs on such buildings, and how terrifying it would be to have to redo such roofs over the years.<br>It takes a very special type of person to be willing to do such work lol

  I visited this castle back in 1994 during a cycling tour of Slovakia. It was the best of the old castles we ventured upon as we traveled through the Slovakian countryside. Thanks for taking us there again.

  There are also two figurines of Count Orlok from the movie Nosferatu inside the castle and also a room that is all about all the movies that used the castle for their filming

  I think there was a misunderstanding. She didn&apos;t say the soldiers stayed in the middle castle and the nobles stayed in the lower castle, she said the nobles stayed in the middle castle and the soldiers stayed in the lower and the high castle.

  Slovakia has many castles and chateaus. Bojnice castle is also an amazing place to visit.

  As a Slovakian that lives about 15 minutes from the castle it actually makes me wonder how it was built on such a steep hill. Back in the days they didnt have much technologies like we do right now.
