If you didn’t recognize who played God, it was Alanis Morissette, the singer.

When silent Bob said "No Ticket?" to the people on the train, he was being a nerd and referencing a line from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. 😂

The cardinal was played by George Carlin, a VERY famous comedian. God was played by singer Alanis Morrisette.

If you two like Jay and Bob, then you should start at the beginning; Clerks.

-This was a part of the View Askewniverse. The other movies include:

-Clerks
-Mallrats
-Chasing Amy
-Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back
-Clerks II
-Clerks III

-There are so many stories involving the movie. When the movie came out, it received a huge backlash from the Catholic Church. When it opened in New Jersey, Smith went to a protest against as one of the protesters. While there, the local news crew was doing a segment on it where he ended up on TV acting as one of the protesters. There’s the story about how, during filming, Chris Rock announced that he was going to play Jimmy Olsen in the Superman movie being made by Tim Burton, which was originally going to be made by Smith, which is part of a WHOLE other great story that explains a certain moment in The Flash movie.

-My favorite tidbit is how Matt Damon plays Loki here. Almost 20 years later, he does a cameo early in “Thor: Ragnarok” where he’s part of a play where…..he’s playing Loki.

Rip Alan Rickman, he was such a fantastic actor. I first saw him as Snape in Harry Potter, i grew up with those movies and later watched so many other movies with him in it .

Kevin Smith went to one of the opening nights of this film and joined the protesters outside the cinema...just for giggles. I believe it was filmed by a local tv company.

If you haven’t already, you need to react to “Clerks”. Silent Bob is played by Kevin Smith, who directs all of the movies he’s in. He rarely speaks, but when he does, it’s always important.

MY favorite story is that when Kevin Smith told his mate Jason Mewes(Jay and Silent Bob) that they had this big Shakespeare actor Alan Rickman joining the cast and that they had to be a bit careful with him Jason Mewes learned not only his lines, but everybody elses lines perfectly. Rickman was so impressed that he remembered the rest of his life

When Bethany asks God, "why are we here?" God's response was to "beep" her nose and smile, implying that human kind exists because God has a sense of humor, which is a callback to Bethany and Metatron's first conversation in the mexican restaurant when she asks him what God is like, and he says "lonely, but funny."
