  The bard rock is something else. I had a rooster that would crow at 4am right outside my windows bedroom windows and he knew it upset me

  I have been around chickens my whole life and had my own flock for about40 years.  I agree with you (except Rhode Island reds). and Australorps are my favorite but tied with Dorkings!  I don't understand why they aren't everywhere.  My Dorking hen is 10 years old, goes broody every year, great momma, and when the chicks are about 8-9 weeks old, she leaves them and goes back to laying.  She is the most alert and warns the flock of anything.  She's really quiet, heat and cold tolerant and just a great hen!  I would have more but the only ones I can find now are just too expensive.  My whole flock was hatched and raised by her.  I also really like the barred rocks, such a great personality and really good egg production.  I really enjoyed your video and subscribed😃👍

  New subscriber here. Love the content! My favorite so far are my Buff Brahma’s even though I just lost one a week ago. My least favorite but most productive is my ISA Browns because of the noise they’re ALWAYS making for no apparent reason 😂. Thanks for sharing and stay blessed!<br>-Calvin

  hi nice channel. i might add to the australoop which is my favorite bird of 26 years having chickens. most hawks wont attack as they fear crows and they look like crows. aslo they are not big jumpers. i use to have a fenced in 4&apos; high and still they didnt jump it while my others all did. i fenced in 3 acres 6&apos; high and now no one jumps it, not saying they cant but have not. have only lost 1 australoop to a hawk in 26 years and i took care of that hawk. i had her 4 years and took it personel although its illegal in upstate ny where i live off grid by choice. the other thing for all my birds is i learned by mistake. i have 3 seperate coops all 3 big size. i use to do meat birds. i found the birds would choose who they want to be with and go to that coop. i have 1 bird that chooses to be slone and stays in that coop by herself. i think at least 2 coops is a great idea, keep the democrats sepearte from the republicans. i cant stand either and thats one of the reasons i chosse to be off grid. also the brids love the droppings from my mulberry blueberry, grapes peach trees inside the fenced area. i grow 100% of my fruits and most of my other foods in another fenced area. hope this helps some of you. living the simple life works for this guy. good luck to all.
