Been in the Electrical industry since the mid 80's and I've never used those holes to make my loop. I've always just used the nose to loop my wire. Seems quicker and easier to me 🤷🏽♂️ l guess it's just how you get taught and you stick with it. <br>Good video as always 👍🏼

Sometimes i use the proper size, then switch to a larger hole to pull the insulation off.

I have a pair of wire strippers from Klein Tools (No. 11055) that appear to have identical features to the yellow-handle pair from Ideal discussed in this video. They didn't come with instructions and I learned about their features and how to use them properly by watching earlier videos in this channel.
