Palatine: I respect Obi Wan the most out of all the Jedi because he cooked his apprentice worse than I ever could.

Obi-wans character to me was impressive when he discovers the clone army. He doesnt become disillusioned with thoughts of grandeur with the full power of a clone army at his fingertips.

When the clone wars Animated series started I started having an amazing appreciation for OBI WAN … the Sheer amount of times he was at deaths door or almost killed YET HE got out of every single situation with all of his limbs intact. His mentality His integrity His connection to the force ….was far greater than any other jedi or council members power, or any other Jedi’s feats Anakin only equalled him during the Clone Wars But Anakins was gifted from birth it was given to him that as pure power, but Obi-Wan EARNED every battle & escape.. He could’ve gone on to live longer than Darth Vader If he haven’t given up his life for the furtherance of the force and the light side literally in ROTJ ! He could’ve lived another 10+ years in obscurity or in peace as Yoda was doing. This is why I consider Obi-Wan Kenobi even greater than Yoda, because of his sacrifice, and because of how much the force was actually with him compared to raw power of Anakin or Even Mace Windoo …. The only Jedi I think is possibly cooler it’s PLO Kloon

Makes sense. Sidious had nothing to offer Kenobi. Only thing I hated was the Satine thing. No, he would not have left the Jedi for her when they were young. Before Disney fucked up everything, the Jedi Apprentice stories were canon and clearly showed Obi-Wan turning away other love interests for the Jedi. He'd have done the same for Satine.
