  Crazy that Samuel L Jackson wanting a purple saber created the entire lore of lightsabers. Luke originally got a green one in Return of The Jedi because blue wasn’t gonna show up well in the desert setting.

  if i understand the novelization correctly luke used a furnace left in obi-wan&apos;s hut to create his green crystal and luke was in meditation while it was being made to keep it from being red, but i could be wrong

  Yoda’s lightsaber is green as well. Green used in the film as blue didn’t work in the daylight.

  And how would the first lightsaber built by the first Jedi have been made? The same way Luke made his. Just because there are rules does not mean they have to be followed by a natural practitioner. &nbsp;Rules are generally made to guide people that are not natural practitioners of a subject.<br><br>Attachment destroys those that seek control, not those that are attached simply out of care. When control, not attachment, is given up, the truth is drawn out into the open.

  One thing i never really got ( and maybe the subject of a video i have not seen yet ) &nbsp;is, &nbsp;why if the Emperor could use the force to move massive objects around, why did he not use the force to stop himself falling into the shaft in the first place?

  Interesting in that &nbsp;Qui-Gon-Jinn used the force to attack when &quot;following&quot; the &quot;living&quot; force. As did Mace Windu as a technique in Vapad. I suspect this is part of why the council became unbalanced &nbsp;in its final years.
