  The reveal in ch 4 that Kris is using us as much as we're using them completely flipped what we thought about the game on its head. Crazy stuff.

  A thought I enjoy, is that Kris&apos;s room being completely bare, and Toriel&apos;s door being locked are related. That Kris asked Toriel to take all their stuff and keep it locked away.<br><br>We know Kris is a private person. They don&apos;t like playing the piano FOR Noelle. People had been assuming that when Kris failed to play the piano at the hospital, it was a matter of them being incapable while we&apos;re inside them, and they were upset about it. But that&apos;s not the case.<br><br>They can play the piano with the Soul in them just fine. They do it in Chapter 4, at Susie&apos;s request... and ONLY at her request. Only for her. They otherwise play the piano poorly, not because they&apos;re incapable, but because they have no interest in doing it for us.<br><br>They don&apos;t want us to know about their life. They don&apos;t want us to share in their private moments. When sitting with Susie by the lake, and selecting the option to tell Susie what you&apos;re thinking; Kris talks with their mouth closed, because I don&apos;t think they want us to be privy to their thoughts.<br><br>So if Kris knew the Soul was coming, knew it was going to control them; I think they would&apos;ve pulled Toriel aside beforehand. Asked her to keep all their things in her room, and keep the door locked. I think Kris normally has things on those shelves. Pictures, books on demon summoning, knives they&apos;ve made out of weird materials, art they made with their brother. And all of it, is THEIRS. Not ours. So they&apos;re keeping it to themselves.

  Just a correction, Noelle DOES notice. She knows them so well she already brings up their strange behavior in chapter 1.<br>She also questions it multiple times and even talks to Susie about them not acting like their normal self, both in the weird route and the normal route.

  There is something about <i>us</i> that I&apos;ve seen nobody mention... the fact that we <i>don&apos;t</i> (or are at least supposed to not) <i>like possessing kris either.</i> We literally create a custom vessel for ourselves, and someone else (who I believe to be john mantle) threw us into kris, against our will.

  My random thought is that the reason Kris is eating a bunch while free of us is that we forget to feed them while we control them. Remember kids, you have to feed your vessel.

  The whole “your choices don’t matter” feels like a red herring in the same vein of how Flowey’s “This world is kill or be killed” where, sure. You can follow what is being said. But since when did we ever listen to what Flowey said? We just prove him wrong. Same thing goes for Deltarune. Whoever said that choices didn’t matter is obviously full of shit, so you can make your own choices. What choices do you have? Well, I see three. Play the game as intended, play the game as intended but seek out the little mysteries that lurk throughout the game (the secret bosses) or be weird.

  Kris lost control of their body But at least kris got Purple dragon best friend out it, so &nbsp;there’s a sliver lining for them.

  The snowgrave route from Noelle&apos;s perspective is wild though. Like for all she knows, her childhood friend just got possessed by a demon that&apos;s trying to hurt everyone and that&apos;s the most horror movie thing ever

  One thing that&apos;s probably gotta really sting for Kris is that because the soul has been more interested in getting to know more and more of the world, they&apos;ve been forced to interact with others more. Others seem to really like our interactions with them...<br><br>Or in other words, you as Kris are not just being piloted around, but people <b>prefer</b> the new you. The soul is a better you than you are, and that&apos;s gotta hurt.
