Head of Norad, an US 4* major gen, said, F35 is not necessary for Norad.<br>Especially since with a 28% combat ready figure only 4 or 5 of those 16 will be available. As someone put it: F35 is the best stealth fighter in the world, since 75% of them are in a hangar at any given time. What can 4 F35 do in a country the size of canada?

No to any additional F35s. Now that Canada has been accepted as a member of SAFE it can also contribute and benefit from one of the 6th generation fighter programs in Europe.

Go with a mixed fleet. Sixteen F-35's and the rest GRIPENS. Make the announcement after the midterms as mentioned in the video.

Just take the F- 35 we already paid for. Cancel the rest and buy or manufacture the Gripen in Canada… We can keep our engineers in Canada, use our own resources plus thousands of jobs for Canadians..
