You’re right I started to sell video games to grow my collection and I barely play now. I get more enjoyment out of finding treasures and making some big money

Great video and very informative. I just want to say thanks for giving more advice than "Don't do it." It's so frustrating looking up information about getting into nearly anything and the first "advice" people give is to dissuade people from doing it. I appreciate being able to hear actual details including the good and the bad without any condescending or dismissive attitude.

Thanks for making these videos. I'm planning on opening my own game store. I'm from the UK but I imagine your advice will work anywhere in the world where a game store could realistically open.

It's like i tell people, businesses that fail are built to make the business owner happy. Successful businesses are built to make their customers happy. No one cares what you like or want as a business owner. Literally no one. Your job is to entertain or otherwise provide a service to customers they desire. In exchange you get cash money, not an ego boost. The cash is to compensate for any damage to your ego. 🤗

by gamers do you mean the one group in iowa that went downhill in the 2010s? Had one location in Mason City iowa till the mid 2010s? or is it a different game store your refering to
If you are refering to this one, i have extremely fond memories of that place. would go there atleast once a week back in the day with my mom and get a used game or two, they were sooo much better then everyone else and friendly.
