Everyone keeps forgetting one important thing. Universal is supposedly putting a Pokemon theme area within its park. Starting in Japan first and then making its way over to Florida. If that officially happens, that’s going to bring in a hugeeeee wave of new collectors and it’s not being talked about at all!

Love your take! I agree, it’s both a combination of hobby and investment. They really do go hand-in-hand. As someone who grew up with the entire franchise, my identity is almost tied up into the Pokemon I love.
