I'm surprised you didn't put Micheal Kors in this list.

I hate it when brands put their name all over an item the take over of Michael Kors killed the quality

michael kors is still considered luxury? I don't think so.

Most luxury brands were overpriced to begin with. Nobody wants them anymore.

Please stop stating women in their 50’s and 60’s buying these overly logo-ed brands. My friends and I have always shunned licensed, logo laden versions or licensed versions of the once real thing. Expensive cheap looks cheap. So do logos.

MCM was done in Germany in the 90s... was the cheapest in every supermarket

I still love my Coach bags, but most of those I get vintage/pre-loved, MUCH MORE reasonably priced, & the hunt/search is always so much fun :) Oh & funeral homes get bought up the exact same way. Family funeral home, they keep the name, everything on the surface LOOKS the same as it's always been, but that little man behind the curtain... Ya, totally new guy pulling those knobs & turning those cranks, NOT ALWAYS, but 'can be' stuffy, rigid, almost cold because after all, IT IS STILL a business, so ya, corporate.

The last Calvin Klein jeans I owned were from 1997, and that era ended right there.

Who buys clothes for investment? I buy for longevity and timelessness.

In the early 90s, I remember going to Oak Tree and seeing promotions for Buy 2 pairs of Arizona jeans and get a free Hugo Boss shirt. A few years later, Hugo Boss was considered luxury. This was embedded in my brain and have never ever purchased anything Hugo Boss, because of this. I've always seen it as the free shirt for buying Arizona. Arizona!
