  My mom told me when I was very young, " Why will you wear a logo if you're not getting paid for it?" When my daughter was a teenager, that was the first lesson I taught her. The most important thing is the craftsmanship and the quality of the material. 😊 I'm truly glad to mom for her teaching.

  I was once doing a charity gig (I'm a makeup artist) and there were around eight muas. I said to my husband when I got home "I hope the other makeup artists think my makeup was good." He said "How was theirs?" I honestly had to answer "IDK. I was too busy to look." That was a HUGE lesson on how much people actually pay attention to others.

  Fun fact: The quality of these "luxury" items has deteriorated, but the price keeps increasing! Many vintage items are better quality (e.g. Vintage Chanel bags used to have real gold hardware).

  I&apos;ve lived in wealthy towns, burbs, and cities all my life, and the people with the most drip are the least rich.<br>When I sold real estate in santa barbara, the ones with the most amount of cash looked borderline homeless.<br>The clients dressed out in designer garb had mid credit and no liquid reserves.

  I used to work in 5 star hotel as housekeeper,. &nbsp;One day I found almost new Prada shoes in the bin. I brought them home , tried them on,they were the most uncomfortable shoes I ve ever tried, &nbsp; they ended up in the bin for the second time 😂

  Lately, I&apos;ve been thinking that the flaunting of luxury items just gives mean people an excuse to treat others poorly...under the guise of having higher &apos;status.&apos; What they have long forgotten is that &nbsp;kindness, empathy, and generosity are the true hallmarks of greatness.🙏🏼
