  Great reaction as usual. :) There is actually a 0 missing. The German Bread Institute lists over 3,000 different types of bread in its German Bread Registry. The acutal number is estimated around 3,200 so called „bread specialties“.

  You can travel throughout the whole country with the "Deutschland-Ticket". ICE trains aren’t included, but you can use all regional trains. The price is now €63, but overall it is explained correctly.

  Man muss bedenken, dass dieses Video stark aus der Sicht eines Amerikaners betrachtet wird. Viele der genannten Dinge sind innerhalb der EU ziemlich ähnlich. 😊<br><br>Erstaunlich finde ich allerdings, dass das Schuko-Stromkabel bzw. der Schuko-Stecker gar nicht erwähnt wird. Durch die europäische Integration hat sich dieses System in vielen Ländern durchgesetzt und macht das Reisen innerhalb Europas sehr einfach. Großbritannien und die Schweiz haben allerdings weiterhin ihre eigenen Systeme.<br><br>Ein paar Ergänzungen aus deutscher Sicht:<br><br>😊Deutsche Fenster: Das heute bekannte Dreh-Kipp-Fenster wurde bereits 1937 entwickelt.<br><br>🚆 Deutschlandticket: Es kostet 2026 monatlich 56 €. Damit kann man den Regionalverkehr in ganz Deutschland nutzen. ICE-Züge sind allerdings ausgeschlossen. Regionalzüge fahren je nach Baureihe bis etwa 120–160 km/h, während der ICE je nach Baureihe etwa 200–300 km/h erreicht.<br><br>💊 Apotheken: Eine Apotheke mit persönlicher Beratung ist in Deutschland und vielen europäischen Ländern völlig normal. Das wirkt nur aus amerikanischer Sicht vielleicht ungewöhnlich.<br><br>⛽ Tankstellen an Autobahnen: Diese gibt es ungefähr alle 30–50 km. Allerdings sind sie meistens ziemlich teuer und das Essen ist oft nicht besonders gut. Mein Tipp: Wenn möglich 2–3 km von der Autobahn abfahren und dort eine normale Tankstelle oder einen Gasthof suchen – dort ist es meistens günstiger und das Essen besser.<br><br>🥙 Döner: 2026 kostet ein normaler Döner in Deutschland meistens etwa 7–11€. Die Zeiten, in denen man ihn für 5 € bekommen hat, sind weitgehend vorbei. Vor dem großen Döner-Boom waren Gyros Pita in Deutschland deutlich verbreiteter. Leider sind viele der kleinen griechischen Imbisse inzwischen verschwunden und der Döner hat sich stark durchgesetzt.<br><br>Insgesamt ist Europa aber gerade wegen der vielen gemeinsamen Standards und der relativ kurzen Entfernungen sehr einfach zu bereisen. ✈🚆

  The Deutschlandticket is valid on every bus, tram, and train throughout Germany (except for the white high-speed ICE or IC trains...)<br>For €63 per month...

  In Austria it&apos;s almost the same except we have mandatory vacaton of 25 work days (or 5 weeks) plus 10 national holidays, mostly Catholic ones like 1.11., 25.12., 26.12. 1.1., 6.1., Easter Sunday and Monday, pentecost Monday, two nation specific holidays and many more like Corpus Christi and so on. So we get 25 Mo-Fr plus weekends plus 10 extra holiday days. I think I read somewhere that Austria is among the top lawfully granted holidays country in the world. <br>The only thing I hate is sparkling water. Why buy it when you get fresh mountain water from 10kms away straight out of the tap?<br>20 years ago when I was in school and uni a Döner Kebap costed 1,50-2,50€. Today it&apos;s 4-6€, ripoff!! And my city of 300k has 80-100 Döner shops alone according to Chatgpt :D

  Das D-Ticket kostet aktuell 63€ pro monat (mit regional sind regionale züge (wir nennen sie hier &quot;bimmelbahn&quot;... die langsamen von a nach b meist über c 😋) IC, EC und ICE sind dabei ausgeschlossen bzw. kann man da einen aufschlag bezahlen um mit denen zu fahren :) )... In Bochen gibts den Döner für 4€ (und die kugel eiscreme für 50 cent) :)
