  I am a fan of folk horror and the supernatural. Not so much cannibalism or slashers. Give me a mystery, a monster, a myth and I’m one happy horror hag 🧙🏻.

  I’m new here! I love being scared since i was little. My favorite trope is haunted houses. I’m so excited for Penpal!  BTW I’m 57 so I was there when King hit the scene.

  Oh, man! The Haar is ALL HEART! Mrs Macauley is probably one of the most sympathetic characters I’ve ever come across. As a horror fan, body horror is the one area, aside from anything including rodents, that I struggle with but I stuck it out with this one bc I just REALLY connected with it emotionally. Some ppl say the villains felt one dimensional, but I feel like those portrayals made sense for the story. The ULTRA wealthy increasingly behave like fucking cartoon villains in the real world so it’s apt.

  I highly recommend the audio version of Pet Sematary. It's read by Michael C. Hall from Dexter. He absolutely nailed it! I was absolutely blown away by his performance

  I loved  "between 2 fires" (I just read it) and I would recommend bateater - there are some seriously creepy ghosts.
