  Joey saying he wanted to take Connor out to take him shopping for clothes in Tokyo sounds like a really good idea for the next Trash Taste Drip Special then they could have Chris the lord of drip to judge them.

  For what it’s worth, the original author of the book that Jaws is based on ultimately came to deeply regret what that book and the film did to the image of sharks and the massive hunting that followed. He became a huge supporter of shark protections and one of the biggest names in shark conservation efforts afterwards.

  Calm parents have this aura of dread when they&apos;re upset with their children. There will be no lashing out or beatings, but you can hear the disappointment or sadness in their voices and that will stay with you for life.

  My best piece of parenting advice is never betray your child&apos;s trust. If they come to you about something they did wrong, don&apos;t scold them about it, they will be less likely to come to you next time. Instead, let them know why it was wrong and let them know that if they ever need help figuring things out next time that they can just come talk to you. You can do the same thing if you find out that they did something wrong as well.

  My Dad would throw down a beating whenever we messed up. However, my oldest sister (by 8yrs) would talk us through what we did, and how it was wrong. I remember I ate my other sister&apos;s candy on her birthday and was really mad after my whooping. My sister sat down with me, comforted me, asked me how I would feel if someone ate mine, and reminded me that we don&apos;t get presents. That chocolate was our only celebration. I felt really bad, apologized, and understood why it was wrong. So, that&apos;s how I raise my kids now. I talk them through and hope they learn like I did. I&apos;m really glad I have a sister like her.
