  MY husband and I were considered strange because I stayed home and took care of my kids and he worked. Women asked me how I could stand being home with my children. I didn't have a family so I could let someone else raise them. I hope it goes back to the way God intended. That's why this generation of children are so lost. No parents are home caring for them. So sad 😢.

  My husband is the provider and I stay home to raise and educate our four babies. Small house in least expensive neighborhood, no vacations, nor shopping, no eating out, no babysitters ….<br>Yes, getting to know well my husbands needs and getting to serve him and our children!<br>I struggle with not wishing for niceties, but God is good to show me what a great husband and sweet babies he has given me ❤

  I realized how blessed I am recently. My grandfather owned a horse breeding &quot; barn / farm &quot; when he past I was the only one that wanted to keep the legacy going. I was 20 when I took over the business and after paying inheritance taxes I owned the business which came with 2 houses, 83 acres of land over 120 horses and a greenhouse. It was hard work but it was mine. I got married young and we have 8 children &quot; 5 biological and 3 adopted &quot;. My husband went to university, sold his business and is now working with me on the farm. We have no debt and are both home with our children. It really is a blessing from the Lord and I am so grateful.

  I am 65 and my heart goes out younger folks today. &nbsp;There was a time my father, and his father were loyal to the company they worked for and vice versa. &nbsp;People retired and got a gold watch. &nbsp;I wish there was a better way to put this loyalty into words I just don&apos;t know how. &nbsp;But it is gone. &nbsp;Maybe younger people today would do better learning to become plumbers, handymen or electricians. &nbsp;Maybe starting their own businesses. &nbsp;But I&apos;m sure this would cost a lot of money too. &nbsp;There was a time too when families lived closer (aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents) to each other and helped each other, and neighbors. &nbsp;We need God back, family back and loving our neighbors.

  My dad wanted me to draw a salary of 52k a year and live off that while suppprting a wife and 5 kids, since that&apos;s what he drew back in the 90s. I showed him that the 52k he drew is the equivalent of 114k or close to it now. His jaw hit the floor in disbelief. I just took paternity lesve for our 4 and 5 kids. Twin girls. Think of it this way. If 7 out of 10 woman were home, they could help other women at home. Now, we had barely any ladies come by and help with babies as theyre all working. Even our own mothers are so busy they can only visit maybe once a week. Different times, man. Different times.

  My mom and dad couldn&apos;t afford for my mom to stay home, even in the 70s and 80s. &nbsp;But thank God for my wonderful grandma, who was a loving woman who took care of us kids ♥️

  My husband is working and I take care of the kids and house. I do some cleaning when kids are at school and this money is for some small holidays and for security.<br>I asked my kids if I should go back to work to get more money, but both are happy that I m staying home. Life is already difficult for them and how many times they came home crying because something happed at school. They could come home knowing I was here to comfort them❤.<br>They know we don&apos;t have much money because of the decision we make, &nbsp;but it is worth it and God has never let us down.

  We live debt-free on a single income. We don’t drive fancy cars, nor do we do a lot of vacations. We have to sacrifice. It is doable- but it is hard, no doubt.
