Andre the Giant passing away hurt as a kid. He was legendary. He lived like 30 minutes from where I was living and people always said he was a nice guy.

Andre had a medical condition where he continued to grow. 6 foot tall by age 8-9; as big and thick as prime Shaq O'Neil at 14. He was extremely agile and athletic in his youth, and he flipped his fair share of loaded full size cars. He was a legit Giant.

Andre The Giant was respected by many wrestlers. Mark Henry gets emotional talking about Andre when Mark was a kid pushed over the railing by fans and Andre The Giant picked him up and put him back where he was making sure he was not hurt.
