  But what Rick didn't understand was that running from your emotions and escaping from accountability while pushing people away perpetuates the miserable state of loneliness that we dread.. it gets better, you just have to be brave and learn to move forward as slow as you need to. coming from someone who has felt isolated and invisible their entire life.

  A lot of it is feeling of the need to be loved because of the need to be validated, when the act of performing starts to fall away life starts to become enjoyable and free, not living by a script

  OH sh**, I never watched this show, but after like 3 compilations, it actually looks like there is a lot more depth there than i gave it credit for initially.  Maybe worth a watch.

  the crazy thing about some people is they cope by being miserable. they push people away to prove to themselves that they are unlovable and deserve to be lonely.
