  I was taught how to drive by the British Army 50 years ago, and consequently I have none of the bad driving habits you mentioned in this video. I’m planning a drive from London to Rabat Morocco, my mechanic recommended I change and flush the coolant system, I think I need to go the whole hog and change the gearbox oil as well. Thank you for this video

  Number 9.  Coming from driving manual gearbox cars in Europe and trained on clutch control on hills, this is something I have done.  This one was a surprise!

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H07YTCqiGaA&amp;t=252">4:12</a> I saw a video a few months back about a study they done in Japan on the same road same time frame every day and analysed driving habits and they found that in all cars there is a fuel cut off switch that engages every time you take your foot off the accelerator (1000 RPM+) and I love when I have no cars behind me and a slight down slope and just taking my foot off the pedal and just roll along saving fuel so no need to put it in neutral...game changer if ya drive the same route everyday give it a try and come back and let me know how ya got on homies 👍

  I&apos;m genuinely proud to say I don&apos;t do any of these. All of them are detrimental to any vehicle. Having done my own car repairs for 50+ years, these things are common knowledge. This video is great for people not in the know...........

  I changed my gearbox oil as Instructed at 77,500 miles for the first time, 150k miles the second time and then found out that that service interval was bad, then 212k the third time. I am going to change at 50k I intervals going forward. I never do moving park or change the direction. Always stopped for at least a second first. One thing I have been guilty of is putting into park after 1 minute of sitting in stationary traffic or lights. I had to do a pedal reset on the TCU a few months back and that made it feel brand new for 100 miles.

  i always feel a little Anxiety when changing specs from city driving (C )to Sport Mode S thinking that my transmission will take a &nbsp;beating one day .!!!

  i did number 10 several times when driving thru mountainous area&apos;s while on a roadtrip.<br>Myself im from the flat Netherlands and 1-2 a year during the road trip on highways sometimes i &nbsp;put my gearbox into neutral for sometimes 500-1000 meters on highways. <br>It seems like a nice way to save fuel especially since my car is a BMW 7 3.5L V8 from 1999<br>I guess i wont do that anymore since it wears the gearbox
